Everything about Randi screams passion! From her constant need to learn and do better, to her peerless and unrivalled approach to client-trainer relations. Randi is a finite example of refined talent.
A mother of two and master-multi-tasker, Randi defies the odds when it comes to her passion for fitness and seeing others succeed.
“Bring it on!” she says. “I thrive in an environment that is busy. I love a challenge. The truth is, the more obstacles I have, the more obstacles I have to overcome and learn from! It’s all in how you look at things. Change your mindset, and you will change your life.”
Randi has been in the fitness industry the majority of her life and has experienced many different forms of training. Starting out with Figure Skating at the young age of 5, she quickly moved into the competitive scene at 8 years old. Later she competed at the National and International level in single and pair skating.
In high school, Randi became a National Cross Country competitor, and loved every aspect of the experience. From the strict training schedule, to the unquestionably supportive running community London has to offer.
Her experience within the fitness community has been a great asset to managing Forest City Fitness.
Be sure to stop by the office to ask Randi to share her perspective about training, nutrition, and of course, how to turn a negative day into one that is positive!
One thing is for sure, you can expect to be greeted at FCF with her big smile, and her dedication towards watching you succeed inside and outside of Forest City Fitness!

I began working out in high school and fell in love with the way lifting weights made me feel. I have been training for over eight years now and have transformed not only my body but my entire life through my fitness journey. The gym has become the place where I have my “me time” and work off any negative energy that builds up throughout the day. I am also passionate about getting my friends and family into the gym so that they can enjoy it as much as I do!
I know how it feels to be a beginner in the gym and trying to sort through a ton of information about fitness online. From what exercises you should be doing to what you should be eating, it can all be so overwhelming. I love answering questions about my workouts/lifestyle, as well as learning about what other people like to do in the gym. Everyone will respond differently to a particular training style. The important thing is to find what works for YOU.
I graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2019 with an Honours Specialization in Biochemistry and Pathology. A common theme I noticed throughout my studies is that exercise is a protective factor for most illnesses and many forms of cancer because it improves overall health. I love being surrounded by people daily who also recognize the importance of exercise.
I am excited for the opportunity to help encourage people to improve their lives through fitness!

Fun Fact: I am the Mother of seven children, and Grandmother to 5 energetic and athletic Grandchildren. We bond through our love for Fitness, but also enjoy quiet family time in which we catch up on all the excitement in each of our lives.
My passion for fitness started more than 20 years ago when I joined GoodLife. Like most first-timers, I did not have a plan in place. After years with minimal results, I started adding other activities into my skillset. My first competition was a duathlon. I placed 10th out of 150 athletes: 4th in my age group. This lit the fire for me, and I started winning races not long after. I continued to compete in half marathons, triathlons, OCR’s, MTB races, and orienteering over the years.
My travels lead to living in New Zealand, where I volunteered as a Medical First Responder with St. John Ambulance and spent my free time rock climbing, surfing, snowboarding, running, biking and hiking. This is where I found my love for the mountains which lead to my adventures of climbing Machu Picchu and Mt. Kilimanjaro and several in NZ.
My vast multitude of training knowledge and experience will provide you with the confidence you need to start your transformation. This is my lifestyle. I don’t just talk the talk; I walk the walk. Ask yourself these simple questions:
– Do I suffer from pain and need work on mobility/stability?
– Do I want to train for a particular event?
– Am I looking for longevity and performance?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, let’s get you in for an assessment and get started on your path to better living.

If you are ready to take control and achieve the results you’ve not thought possible, don’t hesitate and introduce yourself!
Transformation is the best word to describe how fitness has positively affected my life, with continuous improvement of mental health through exercise as my primary focus. Think resiliency & mental endurance. What does this mean?
Many people believe that by losing weight or getting ‘Buff’ is the answer to how to feel happy. Example: I’ll be happy when I lose 20 pounds .. when I have 6 pack abs or that crazy sexy booty! Wouldn’t it be great if you could feel happy throughout the process?
Wouldn’t it be awesome to have it all?
Weight training is far more than lifting heavy things up & putting them down. In actuality, the synchronized workings of the mind and body are what bring true transformation. Without strengthening the thought processes of the mind, one often finds themselves falling back into undermining patterns that trigger weight gain to return, after working so hard to have lost it.
As an old school competitive bodybuilder with over 10 years in the fitness industry I bring a great deal of life experience to use weights as ‘Tools’ for managing stress & overcoming adversities. Lose the stress … Lose the weight!
Imagine if you will, attaining a place on the National stage as a Figure Competitor at the Age of 50, to not being able to stand unsupported for more than 10 minutes at a time, as a result of an accident. I have personally rehabilitated myself physically & mentally from the darkest of depressions that had me laid up & struggling for 2 years.
I train both men and women, although the majority of my clients are women looking to learn how to overcome resistant weight gain concerns while developing a completely new level of confidence both inside & outside of the gym. I work well with shy & not so shy Type A personalities looking for performance gains!
As your Mindset & Performance Coach, you can expect to achieve a Total Body Transformation or just tone & tighten. Gain strength, improve posture, flexibility and mobility.
Most of my Clients can expect to lose 3.5 to 4.5 inches overall in their first 30 Days with little to no change in current diet and/or cardio. (although cardio is important for respiratory health so therefore recommended) * Results via Remote Training included
Rest assured you can achieve your fitness goals regardless of your age or current situation. I would love to support and cheer you on as you reach, and inevitably surpass your goals and ambitions!! Let’s Do This!
